About Us

Hianloland Fire Company is a dedicated volunteer organization committed to protecting and serving the residents of West Greenwich, Rhode Island, and surrounding communities. Since 1940, we have stood as a pillar of safety, responding to fires, emergencies, and rescues with professionalism, courage, and unwavering dedication.

Operating out of two stations, our fleet is equipped to handle any challenge, featuring engine pumpers, tankers, a brush truck, a squad unit, and an ATV for off-road and remote rescues. Every call is met with the passion and commitment of our trained volunteers, ensuring the safety of our community day and night.

Beyond emergency response, we take pride in giving back. From annual clam cake and chowder dinners to craft fair fundraisers, we bring the community together while supporting our mission. We offer CPR training, perform courtesy wood stove inspections, and proudly sponsor Boy Scout Troop 35 and Cub Scout Pack 7—helping shape the next generation of leaders.

At Hianloland Fire Company, service is more than a duty—it’s a calling. We are proud to stand ready, 24/7, for those who need us most.
